We will remain committed to this ceasefire as long as our enemy remains committed to it. If another wrong step is taken against Iran, I am sure that our response will be much more painful. Iranian chargé d'affaires to Armenia Bahram Taheri told this to reporters Tuesday—and regarding the ceasefire that has been reached today between Iran and Israel.
“As you already know, the war that Iran did not want was forced upon it. That war lasted 12 days. Our people, united around the armed forces and other structures, carried out a worthy defense. In the end, the enemy was forced to accept the ceasefire. According to our data, a ceasefire has been established since this morning, which, in general, is being maintained,” Taheri said.
The Iranian chargé d'affaires to Armenia noted that solidarity and unity in Iran were at a higher level today than ever.
"There is no weakness in our people and state system. If there were any weakness, they [i.e. Israel] would have continued their [military] actions [toward Iran]. I can say that it is our strength that forced them to come to the conclusion that a ceasefire should be signed," said Bahram Taheri.
