The First President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, on Wednesday hosted the Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, at his residence.

During the talk which lasted about an hour, in addition to assessing the current situation in Armenia, they touched also upon the retaliation unleashed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan against Russian Armenian businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, the occasion for which was Karapetyan’se following statement in the context of the war declared by the Armenian authorities against the Armenian Apostolic Church: “If the politicians fail, then we will also participate in all of this in our own way.”

According to the First President of Armenia, Pashinyan is the embodiment of defeat, he disgracefully lost the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war in 2020, and he definitely will lose the war declared against the Armenian Apostolic Church as well.
