When US President Donald Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on Wednesday spoke during a press conference, they discussed the escalation of conflict between Israel and Iran, and Rutte addressed Trump's swearing on live TV on Tuesday, Sky News reports.

The US president compared Iran and Israel to "two kids in a schoolyard," and said, "You know, they fight like hell, you can't stop them."

"Let them fight for about 2-3 minutes, then it's easy to stop them," he added.

"And then daddy has to sometimes use strong language to get [them to] stop," Rutte joked.

And Trump responded: "You have to use strong language, every once in a while, you have to use a certain word."
