In a telephone conversation between Iranian and Azerbaijani Presidents Masoud Pezeshkian and Ilham Aliyev today, June 26, the issue of using Azerbaijan's airspace to attack Iran was also touched upon.

“Dr. Pezeshkian stressed the need to investigate reports of the Zionist regime's drones infiltrating Iran from Azerbaijan's airspace,” IRNA reported.

Aliyev responded by saying that “the Azerbaijani government will under no circumstances allow its airspace to be used against friendly and brotherly Iran.”
