Russia plans to reduce defense spending in the future, unlike the West. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to RT.

He also said: “We know better than anyone what threatens us and what doesn’t. It’s our right to decide. They talk about our ‘aggression.’ Look at yourselves! The West wants to rearm under the pretext of Russia’s alleged aggressiveness — let them rearm.”

Putin also commented on the West’s attempts to “bury” the Russian economy: “They’ll die off soon themselves, yet they’re already burying us.”

The West has failed to “cut off” Russian oil supplies, and global demand for it is increasing, the Russian president added.
