On the instructions of the Human Rights Defender, rapid response teams from the Ombudsman's Office are conducting visits to police stations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia. The purpose of these visits is to assess the protection of the rights of individuals detained in various locations on June 27, as well as to review the documents prepared concerning them.

The findings of the visits will be summarized, written explanations will be requested from the relevant state authorities, and if necessary, the Ombudsman's Office will issue a public statement.
