The US Senate will be ready to consider a bill imposing new sanctions on Russia, Senator Lindsey Graham—whom Russia considers a terrorist and extremist—said on ABC News.

According to him, the US Senate will be ready to consider a bill on new sanctions against Russia on July 7, when senators return from the July break, the BBC reports.

"After the July break [which ends on July 6], we're going to pass the bill," Graham said.

According to him, US President Donald Trump personally told him during a round of golf on Saturday that, “It’s time to move your bill.”

"If you are buying products from Russia and you are not helping Ukraine, then there is a 500% tariff on your products coming to the United States. India and China are buying 70% of Russia's oil (…).My bill has 84 co-sponsors. It will allow the president to put tariffs on China and India and other countries," Graham said, commenting on the sanctions included in this bill.
