Kaja Kallas, the Vice-President of the European Union (EU) Commission and High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, has essentially confirmed the media reports that Hungary is obstructing the provision of funds from the European Peace Facility to Armenia.

Responding to a question at a press conference in Armenia’s capital Yerevan on Monday about whether the reports of vetoing the provision of additional funds from the European Peace Facility to Armenia were correct, Kallas explained that the EU consists of 27 sovereign countries that have their own opinions, and decisions are made by consensus.

It is a process, they are trying to find a solution, there is no solution yet, but they are trying to find a solution, assured the EU foreign chief.
