Representatives of the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Aram I, met with the Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

They conveyed to Karekin II the concerns of Aram I regarding the escalation of tension between the Armenian authorities and the Armenian Apostolic Church, and his views on ways out of this situation. Also, the representatives of Aram I listened to the respective concerns and views of Karekin II.

In addition, the representatives of Catholicos Aram I emphasized the imperative of keeping the Armenian Apostolic Church strong and organized in its spiritual mission and national service.
