The Leninsky district court of Yekaterinburg decided to remand in custody until July 19 Akhliman Ganjiev, suspected of involvement in a series of murders committed in previous years. This is reported by the correspondent of TASS.
Earlier, the press service of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Sverdlovsk region reported the suppression of the activities of an ethnic criminal group, which the investigation links to the murders that took place in 2001, 2010 and 2011. The day before, the court sent Ayaz, Akif and Mazakhir Safarovs to arrest, and on Tuesday it became known about the arrest of Bakir Safarov.
“To elect [...] a measure of restraint in the form of detention [...] until July 19,” the judge announced the decision.
