Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand, during a phone conversation with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, thanked for enabling effective access for Canadian consular teams.

“This morning, I spoke with my Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan to thank Armenia for enabling effective access for Canadian consular teams deployed to the Agarak border crossing [on the border of Iran]. In turn, we were able to assist Canadians in the region recently. We also discussed and reaffirmed our commitment to democratic principles and human rights in the region,” the Canadian FM wrote on X on Tuesday.
