Snap elections must definitely take place. But snap elections for the Catholicos of All Armenians. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote this on Facebook Thursday morning.

To note, the former Primate of the Tavush Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, and the Primate of the Shirak Diocese, Archbishop Mikael Ajapahian, are currently remanded in custody and are being held in the isolation ward of the National Security Service of Armenia in Yerevan.

Pashinyan makes threatening posts almost daily, and insists that the Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, must step down.
