A Moscow-Yerevan flight has returned to the Russian capital city.

Passengers of Utair airline flight UT785 told Ostorozhno Novosti that the plane departed from Moscow at approximately 9pm on Thursday. But about two hours into the flight, the pilot informed the passengers that they will return to Vnukovo International Airport of Moscow due to “flight restrictions.”

Later, an airline staff member informed that the plane had technical problems and needed to burn off fuel in order to safely land at the aforementioned airport.

Currently, passengers are waiting until the repair work is completed and the flight is resumed.
