The Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: About two weeks ago, the [two] parties issued a statement that says nothing regarding [Armenian PM Nikol] Pashinyan’s visit to Turkey, which created the impression that the visit was “fruitless,” no agreement was reached. In some ways, this was good news for us [i.e. the Armenian side], since before the meeting it was being said that a document will be signed which will also include the issue of the so-called Zangezur corridor.

However, in recent days, the Turkish-Azerbaijani press has been disclosing the arrangements made during that visit. According to the publications, it is noted that Armenia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan have reached an agreement on the so-called Zangezur corridor issue, which may cause a significant shift in regional geopolitics and transport networks.

According to this agreement, Russia will have zero control over the corridor. And yesterday, an American plan was disclosed that the control of the corridor will be handed to a private American company. It is noteworthy that this information is being circulated amid tensions in Baku-Moscow relations.

The RA authorities also have raised a new anti-Russian wave, which also indicates that the plan to push Russia out of the region has entered a practical phase, and the parties are actively collaborating on this matter.
