If Ktrich Nersisyan considers the detention of Vazgen Galstanyan and Gevorg Ajapahyan illegal, then he shares the ideology and plans of the above-mentioned individuals to carry out a military coup, to kill people under walls, and to create chaos in the country. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote this on Facebook—and referring to the Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, the former Primate of the Tavush Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, and the Primate of the Shirak Diocese, Archbishop Mikael Ajapahian.

“Especially in this case, no area of the Vagharshapat [i.e. Ejmiatsin] enlarged community can be closed to law enforcement activities, especially since, thanks to Ktrich [i.e. Karekin II] and several other individuals, these areas are not closed to adultery,” Pashinyan added.
