Armenian Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan on Tuesday received Chinese Ambassador Li Xinwei, informed the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia

Sargsyan lauded the friendly relations between Armenia and China, and emphasized their continued development and deepening trend.

She noted that the cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia and the Ministry of Public Security of China is gaining a new quality and has the potential to expand.

Minister Sargsyan, reflecting on the initiatives aimed at the development of regional and global ties, stressed that the Belt and Road and Armenia’s Crossroads of Peace initiatives are confidently comparable to promote cooperation based on mutual interests.

Ambassador Li, for his part, lauded the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, especially in ensuring internal stability and migration policy.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for further development of collaboration in fight against crime, road safety, disaster risk management, and migration policy.

Also, they reaffirmed their willingness to continue and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation—and for the benefit of the security and well-being of the two peoples.
