According to letters sent yesterday to various countries, in addition to letters to be sent today, tomorrow and over the next short period of time, tariffs will go into effect on August 1, 2025, US President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social.

"There has been and will be no change before that date. In other words, all monies will be paid as of August 1, 2025 - there will be no extensions. Thank you for your attention to this issue!", - noted the US President.

Earlier Donald Trump reported that he sent letters to a number of countries with notifications about the entry into force of tariffs on foreign imports.
