Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio are holding talks in Kuala Lumpur, according to a RIA Novosti correspondent.
The talks are taking place on the sidelines of ASEAN events.
Lavrov and Rubio had previously spoken on the phone several times and met in person for the first time at Russian-American talks in Riyadh in February. At that time, the sides agreed to begin work on normalizing bilateral relations.
