ISTANBUL. – Trial on Hrant Dink murder case launched on Tuesday may end in passing a verdict, some Turkish media outlets claim.

Erdogan Soruklu, lawyer of one of the defendants Erhan Tuncel, stated that Dink murder case is one of the cases of Ergenekon, Turkish Hurriyet reports.

“It is wrong to blame the suspect in organizing terrorist attack. My defender was working for Istanbul police as an agent,” he claimed.

Afterwards, Erhan Tuncel delivered a speech stating that Dink’s murder was organized by Yasin Hayal. He also quoted Russian famous writer Dostoevsky saying he will not keep silent and will speak up on the crime. He claims that Ergenekon has implemented the murder.

To note, the gathered in front of the court demanded justice, besides, the trial was accompanied with “We are All Armenians” posters. Earlier the Turkish media stated that a verdict may be passed on Tuesday. However, one of Dink’s lawyers Arzu Becerik claims if the trial ends on Tuesday it will be incomplete, as the materials are not studied properly and some people were not involved in the case.
