Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Tehran is ready to resume Iran Six talks.

He said Deputy Secretary of Iran’s Security Council will visit Moscow in the near future.

“The representatives of EU and Iran are holding contacts to agree on a date of a regular meeting,” he told journalists on Wednesday.

The Russian Minister stressed that sanctions against the Islamic Republic are aimed at blocking the development of Iran’s economy and attempts to provoke society’s discontent, having no relation to providing non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
