"This issue should be addressed to the Armenian side. Cooperation with US companies is their own business. And we are engaged in our own business: expanding transport ties, establishing contacts with our neighbors - Georgia, Iran and Russia," said Hikmet Hajiyev, aide to Azerbaijani President and head of the Foreign Policy Department of Ilham Aliyev's administration, responding to the question about transfer of control over the Zangezur corridor to US companies, APA reports.
He said that “such relations can benefit the region as a whole.”
“If Armenia is ready for this, we would like to jointly develop the Transcaucasus transportation corridor,” Hajiyev said.
