US and Chinese delegations will try to resolve their economic differences in the next round of talks.

The meeting, aimed at extending a trade truce between the world's largest and second-largest economies by three months and preventing a sharp increase in tariffs, will take place on Monday in Stockholm.

The current suspension of the introduction of super-high tariffs on Chinese imports in the US ends on August 12. Analysts, however, consider it likely to be extended for another 90 days.

At the start of the talks, Washington suspended export restrictions on Chinese technology, which should also help arrange a meeting between President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping this year, informed sources said, the Financial Times reports on Monday.
