Iranian intelligence has foiled assassination attempts on 23 senior officials during the recent 12-day war with Israel.

According to Iranian intelligence, Israel’s Mossad national intelligence agency, together with Iranian opposition figures, planned to organize mass riots in Iranian capital Tehran after the Israeli strike on Evin prison.

The same sources added that at least 450 foreign militants planned to invade Iran during the 12-day war with Israel.
