On Tuesday, France condemned the killing of Palestinian teacher Avda Khatalin in the West Bank, who participated in the creation of the Oscar-winning documentary “Another Place,” calling the violence by Israeli settlers “terrorism,” AFP reports.

“France condemns this murder with the utmost determination, as well as all deliberate acts of violence committed by extremist settlers against the Palestinian population, whose numbers are growing throughout the West Bank,” a Foreign Ministry spokesman said after Khatalin's death on Monday. “These acts of violence are terrorist acts.”
