The Armenian government approved, at its Cabinet meeting Thursday, the agreement with the Russian government on making amendments to the agreement on mutual visits of citizens of the two countries without visas in the form of an exchange of documents.

This agreement regulates mutual visits of citizens of the two states. In particular, the agreement stipulates that the nationals of one of these countries may enter, exit, move, and stay in the other country without visas.

The current draft of the agreement on making amendments to the agreement on the exchange of documents provides for the amendment of the first paragraph of the list of documents for entry, exit, residence, and movement of Armenian nationals via Russia by removing the words "with an indication of the period of validity in foreign states.”
