The Kremlin agrees with US President Donald Trump that Russian-American business is now almost at zero, but disagrees that it should remain there, said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, according to RIA Novosti.

Journalists asked him to comment on Trump's statements that Russian-American business is now almost at zero and “better off staying there.”

“We agree that Russian-American business is practically at zero. But we disagree that it should remain there,” Peskov replied when asked how Russia should respond to such statements.

Moscow believes that such interaction would be in the interests of both American and Russian business, he stressed.
