The thing is that in recent days [PM] Nikol Pashinyan has “disappeared” from everyone’s sight: he does not make any [social media] posts, does not clarify his plans regarding [Armenian Apostolic] church processes, and it is not clear when he will start taking concrete steps, or whether he will start or not.

We can say that the situation within the CC [i.e. the ruling Civil Contract Party and its parliamentary faction] is unclear; everyone is asking one another what to expect, when.

The surprise appearance of RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan, how, having not left the presidential residence for years, he has been walking around different villages in Syunik Province for several days already, making a strange statement is being hotly discussed in the CC. Khachaturyan is talking to villagers in an unusual demeanor, declaring that the [Armenian] state has no money problems, talking to the people of Syunik by expressing disappointment, and yesterday he was praising Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan, who, according to Khachaturyan, “kept” the city “well.” There was a heated discussion within the authorities about, first, why the president “has come to the fore,” and then why Nikol Pashinyan has “disappeared.”
