Armenian Card CJSC has issued an explanation on the recent disruptions in the ArCa system.

The explanation notes that Armenian Card CJSC, as the national payment system of Armenia, has recorded technical disruptions that temporarily affected the availability of some services in recent days.

These disruptions occurred on July 23 from 10:05am to 4:50pm, and on July 29 from 11:46am to 3:25pm.

The cause of these disruptions was technical and was due to a system upgrade.

Armenian Card CJSC added that no cases of cybersecurity or data leakage were recorded.

Thanks to the prompt actions of specialists, the main services mainly continued to operate, and the disruptions were completely eliminated on the same day.

A thorough technical study is currently underway to prevent similar issues.

This year, the launch of a second data center is being completed to increase system reliability and recovery speed.
