Tremors measuring magnitude 5.5 were felt off the coast of Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia.
According to preliminary estimates, residents of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy felt an earthquake with a magnitude of 4, reported the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
According to scientists, the quake occurred 89 km from the regional center, and at a depth of 26.2 km.
