In the near future, all energy resources and logistics routes will be delivered to Turkey via the “Zangezur corridor,” Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar told Azerbaijani media.

According to him, electricity from Azerbaijan is currently being supplied to Turkey via Georgia.

“Other energy resources from Central Asia and logistics routes will be delivered to Turkey via Azerbaijan, and from Turkey to Europe,” he said.

According to him, “all projects related to the export of oil, gas, and electricity from Azerbaijan to Turkey are being implemented.”

“Significant progress has been made in this direction. Examples of projects implemented to date include the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipelines, as well as the Nakhchivan-Turkey electricity interconnector,” he added.
