President Donald Trump has confirmed that, in accordance with his previous orders, two US Navy nuclear submarines have been deployed to a certain area near Russia.

“I've already put out a statement, and the answer is, they are in the region, yeah, where they have to be,” Trump told reporters in Washington—and when asked whether these submarines had already been deployed.

Also, he explained that the order to deploy these two nuclear submarines was given after statements by former Russian president and current deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, because Trump is trying to protect Americans.

The US just has to be careful. The US has been threatened, and it has determined that these threats are false, and that is why the US has to be careful, the president told reporters.
