Russian President Vladimir Putin does not rule out the possibility of a meeting with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy after the necessary work at the expert level, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, RIA Novosti reports.
“I want to remind you that the president himself always does not rule out the possibility of such a meeting. After some of the necessary work is done at the expert level and the appropriate distance is overcome,” Peskov told reporters. He stated this in response to RIA Novosti’s question about whether a meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy was possible now and whether preparations for such a meeting had been done.
