At the Hague Group summit held on July 15–16 in Bogota (Colombia), a six-point action plan against Israel's occupation policy was adopted. The document provides for:

  • restrictions on arms supplies to Israel,
  • a ban on ships carrying military cargo from entering ports,
  • prosecution for crimes in Palestine based on the principle of universal jurisdiction.

Turkey signed only a general political statement but refused to support specific sanctions, according to the Telegram channel @sepah_pasdaran_ru. According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the reason is that the plan is based on the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, which could affect Ankara's maritime disputes with Greece.
