Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Armenia.

During the meeting, the matters on the agenda of Armenia-EU cooperation were discussed, as well as the course of implementation of the agreements reached during Deputy PM Grigoryan's visit to Brussels and Luxembourg between July 15 and 17.

They exchanged views also on regional developments, and underscored the importance of unblocking of communications and diversifying of economic ties from the perspective of sustainable development of the region.

Mher Grigoryan and Vassilis Maragos touched upon also the process of negotiations on EU visa liberalization and the respective work being carried out.
