The United States does not allow entry on a tourist visa for the purpose of giving birth and obtaining US citizenship for a child. This is stated in a message distributed by the US Embassy in Armenia.
“The consular officer reviewing your visa application may deny your visa if there is reason to believe that you are traveling to the United States for the purpose of giving birth,” the statement said.
