Russia and the United States have agreed to hold a bilateral meeting between the presidents of the two countries, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, in the coming days, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters on Thursday, Interfax reports.

"Now, together with our American colleagues, we [i.e. Russia] are starting concrete work," Ushakov said.

US President Donald Trump had earlier announced that he plans to hold talks with his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, very soon.
