The Polish publication Onet claims that its editorial staff managed to obtain some details of the proposal allegedly presented to Putin in Moscow by Trump's special envoy Whitcoff. The Kremlin will receive “a great deal” in this package if it agrees to negotiations, Onet writes.

According to the publication, one of the main points among the proposals is Washington's agreement to postpone the issue of recognizing the Ukrainian territories seized by Russia for 49 or 99 years. De facto, this means recognizing them for this period, explains DW.

Washington also promises Moscow to lift most of the sanctions imposed because of the war and to consider resuming energy cooperation — oil and gas supplies from Russia.

At the same time, according to the publication, the US proposals refer specifically to a ceasefire in Ukraine, rather than lasting peace. Washington's proposals do not include guarantees of NATO non-expansion and the cessation of military support for Ukraine, which Moscow has repeatedly cited as “obstacles” to peace.
