Senior US officials just held a background briefing on today's US-Armenia-Azerbaijan summit, Alex Raufoglu, an American journalist of Azerbaijani origin, on Friday wrote on X.

“(…) the centerpiece of the peace deal is ‘Trump Route’ or TRIPP. Officials confirmed it ensures unimpeded connectivity while respecting Armenia's sovereignty,” Raufoglu added.

The US administration will immediately establish working groups to work out the details of the roadmap, and negotiations on the “Trump Route” are scheduled to begin next week, Raufoglu said.

According to the official, nine different operators, including three from the US, have already expressed interest, Raufoglu noted.
