YEREVAN. – Head of Investigation department of Armenia’s Lori Region Gagik Ispiryan was dismissed by the Chief of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan’s decree and was replaced by Tatul Shushanyan. Ispiryan gave an interview to the Armenian News News-NEWS.am correspondent on this regard.

In response to the question whether the decision was a surprise for Ispiryan, he said that orders of Chief of Armenian Police are not discussed. Besides, he could neither comment, nor explain the reason of the decision. To note, Ispiryan does not belong to any party.

As for what is Shushanyan’s advantage except being young, Ispiryan said that he is a good person and a professional. Moreover, new people, being younger, more active and clever, may lead to qualitative changes in the legal system.
