Norway condemns Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip and will execute the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits the country, Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik told Al Jazeera.
Israel's actions are absolutely unacceptable. There are strikes on schools, hospitals, and journalists, Kravik stressed.
He noted that Oslo is aware of the ICC's decision to arrest Netanyahu and is ready to execute this warrant if the Israeli PM appears on Norwegian territory.
In addition, the Norwegian diplomat recalled the imposition of sanctions by Norway and several other countries against Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
