Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday spoke on the telephone with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss certain aspects of preparations for the upcoming meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Alaska on Friday, informs the press service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Both sides confirmed mutual willingness to hold a successful event,” adds the respective press release.
