The agreement and the declaration contain quite tangible benefits for Iran and Russia. When this agreement is implemented, Iran will gain railway access from the Persian Gulf to the Black Sea, and Russia and Iran will be able to have a railway link between them. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this in an interview with Fox News, as he spoke about the documents signed and initialed in Washington DC on August 8.

If one focuses on the economic side of this agreement, then not only Armenia, Azerbaijan, the US and Turkey, but also Russia and Iran will receive very important and truly tangible, practically unprecedented benefits. Now there is no railway connecting Iran to Russia from the South Caucasus, the Armenian PM said.

This is a very important agreement that can bring significant benefits to all countries, as well as the entire international community, within the framework of international stability and security, Pashinyan noted.

There is a project called Crossroads of Peace, this agreement can become a crossroads of cooperation, and that is precisely their objective, the Armenian premier said.
