The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Anchorage, Alaska, USA on Friday will begin at 11am local time (11pm Armenia time).

This stems from the American leader's schedule, which was disseminated by the White House press service.

According to this schedule, at 5:45pm local time, Trump will leave Anchorage and return to Washington DC.

This will be the first face-to-face talks between the heads of state of the two countries since June 2021, when Putin had met with then US President Joe Biden in Geneva, Switzerland.

Also, Vladimir Putin will be the first Russian leader to visit Alaska.
