Azerbaijan does not consider the crash of the Azerbaijani AZAL plane in Kazakhstan a deliberate attack, Azerbaijani President Aliyev said in an interview with Fox News.
“Our only demand was the recognition of this fact, punishment of those responsible for the crime, and full payment of compensation,” the Azerbaijani president added.
An Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by AZAL, flying from Baku to Grozny, had crashed on the morning of December 25, 2024, near Aktau in western Kazakhstan. On board were 67 people, including five crew members. Thirty-eight were killed, and 29 survived.
