Foreign forces, in the form of the so-called “deep state,” do not stop making attempts to carry out unrest and revolution in Georgia, the secretary general of the ruling Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party and the mayor of the capital Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, told reporters.

Earlier, Georgian media reported that UK was training young activists in Lithuania for confrontation with the police.

“These countries, specific organizations, and people who represent the party of the ‘deep state’s’ global war, of course, do not rest and want to somehow cause unrest and a coup d’état in the country,” Kaladze said.

He emphasized that in recent years, several attempts had been made, with the help of foreign forces, to carry out a revolution in Georgia, but in vain. According to him, these attempts will not work this time either.

“Our respective services are always on top. And all such attempts, which are imbued with radicalism and hatred, will always be defeated,” Kaladze added.
