Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian posted on the social network X, in which he described the contents of his conversation at a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"In the meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, I emphasized that the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is committed to preserving Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity and to maintaining cordial relations between the two countries. I also stressed that our concerns regarding the presence of third-party forces near our shared borders must be fully addressed,"he wrote.

It should be recalled that the Iranian president paid an official visit to Armenia today, August 19. He met with Armenian Prime Minister and President Vahagn Khachaturian. A number of documents were signed during the visit.
