In January-July 2025, exports from Armenia to the other Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member countries amounted to 1 billion 788 million USD, which is 42 million USD or 2.4% more than the respective indicator in 2024, Armenian minister of economy Gevorg Papoyan wrote on Facebook.

“It is noteworthy that the growth in the product direction ‘bouquet flowers, buds and ornamental greenery’ has amounted to 88.7% or 17.2 million USD.

This information is important, as some pseudo-experts in the press and on social media are simply misleading our people, presenting the reduction in the ‘transfer’ of gold from the RF [i.e. the Russian Federation] to Armenia, then to the Emirates compared to the previous year as an economic collapse, while it not only created a result tending to 0 for the RA [i.e. the Republic of Armenia] and our population, but on the contrary, it also created risks for the state and the business environment [of Armenia],” Papoyan added.
