Co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Russia, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexey Overchuk met in the Armenian government.

After the private conversation, an expanded-format discussion was held, within the framework of which the process of implementing the agreements of the protocol of the 23rd meeting of the aforesaid intergovernmental commission and the matters on the agenda of Armenia-Russia bilateral cooperation were discussed.

At the beginning of the talk, Grigoryan thanked Overchuk for the prompt response and assistance in the importing of grain from Russia to Armenia through the Upper Lars checkpoint on the Russian-Georgian border.

From the perspective of expanding state relations between Armenia and Russia, Mher Grigoryan and Alexey Overchuk mutually emphasized the importance of implementing joint work in trade and economic relations, transport, energy. and customs. Also, they reflected on cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.

In addition, the deputy premiers of Armenia and Russia underscored the unblocking of regional communications within the framework of full respect for the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and reciprocity of countries.
