Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Vahagn Khachaturyan attended the start of the annual workshop of the heads of Armenian diplomatic missions abroad, in Kapan, Armenia, the PM’s office reported.

The premier delivered an address highlighting the key role and significance of diplomatic missions. In his remarks, Pashinyan touched upon the balanced and balancing foreign policy pursued by the government of Armenia. He emphasized that its practical implementation came to fruition on August 8, in Washington, with the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Also, Pashinyan touched upon the fundamental directions of Armenia’s foreign policy, the country’s priorities in international relations, and upcoming programs. The speech by the prime minister of Armenia was followed by discussions on the foreign policy agenda matters, on existing main problems and opportunities for their resolution.
