The annual workshop of the heads of Armenian diplomatic missions abroad continued in Kapan, Armenia with a discussion with Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
Mirzoyan spoke about the agreements reached as a result of the meetings held in Washington on August 8. Reflecting the initialed agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the FM emphasized the importance of established peace for Armenia and the region, presented Armenia's foreign policy vision and the new opportunities that have emerged in this new reality, and the work to be carried out to implement them.
The FM stressed that the continued implementation of the peace agenda in the region and the provision of a stable, secure, and prosperous environment for the citizens of Armenia are the primary goals of the Armenian government, including its diplomatic service.
Also, Mirzoyan touched upon the opportunities to be provided by the unblocking of regional communications, the efforts aimed at ensuring Armenia's effective inclusion in the expanding network of international channels, and the upcoming work towards the implementation of the trilateral declaration signed in Washington for this purpose.
Noting the successes achieved, views were exchanged on the ongoing work in various directions, including the further development of strategic partnerships.
